“This cluster of trees is off the steep road as you descend into Waialua Plantation lands.  I was haunted by it each time traveling there and finally just had to paint it.  Fortunately, because the juror in a recent Assn. of Hawaii Artists annual exhibit deemed to award it 'Best in Show'!”  ~ Warren
